dc.description.abstractA Phase I archeological assessment of a 15 acre tract in central Nacogdoches County, Texas was performed in May 1998 by Brazos Valley Research Associates (BVRA) of Bryan, Texas. This is a federal project regulated by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) agency. The area examined is the site of a proposed apartment complex to be constructed by First Worthing Company of Dallas, Texas. No archaeological sites were found in the project area, and it is recommended that construction be allowed to proceed as planned.en
