Abstract
For decades, colleges and universities have focused on increasing racial diversity on college campuses through targeted policy efforts. Authors Hoekstra, Carrell and West investigate whether diversity causes members of the majority to change their subsequent behavior toward minorities by studying squadrons of freshmen at the United States Air Force Academy.
